Our Projects
In 2024/2025, the 100 Dagim initiative will continue to advance the vision of Hadag Nahash with a sense of purpose that has only intensified since the events of October 7 and the complex reality facing Israeli society. Central to our mission is the aspiration to unite people from all sectors of Israeli society and promote a sense of togetherness, contribute to collective resilience and social healing, through diverse music projects, community support initiatives, and artistic collaborations.

Music as Therapy
We believe in the transformative power of music and creativity to heal and alleviate trauma by encouraging artistic expression in a shared environment
In response to the trauma experienced by residents of the Gaza Envelope, the 100 Dagim initiative has launched a series of therapeutic master classes in the region’s communities.
Led by members of Hadag Nahash, alongside additional musicians and therapists, these workshop sessions combine creativity and self-expression in a unique safe space where participants can process their difficult experiences, reconnect with themselves and their community, express emotions, and find solace and strength through the healing power of music.
The initiative focuses on building stable groups that provide mutual support over time, a resilient social network for residents whose lives have been so drastically disrupted.

Volunteer Performances
Supporting evacuees, bereaved families, and the wounded
Since October 7, members of Hadag Nahash have been performing voluntarily for evacuees, soldiers, the injured in hospitals, and bereaved families. These performances provide moments of solace to communities coping with loss and trauma.
We are committed to continuing these performances for those affected by the events of October 7, offering them much-needed support. Each performance creates a unique sense of togetherness, giving the audience an opportunity to experience moments of upliftment and connection through music. Every show becomes a testament to strength and hope.

Social Change
Hadag Nahash is deeply committed to supporting organizations that strengthen Israeli society, year-round and especially during times of crisis, such as the ongoing war. The band recognizes the vital role these organizations play in building social resilience and is dedicated to helping them achieve their important missions.
Through the 100 Dagim initiative, Hadag Nahash supports organizations driving social change by performing at their events free of charge. With funds raised through the initiative, the band strives to deliver memorable performances that advance meaningful causes and amplify the reach and impact of these organizations.
Hadag Nahash seeks to collaborate with organizations that share their vision, engaging in artistic and cultural projects that reflect their core values of inclusion, diversity, and social responsibility.

Jewish Culture and Values - Singing Psalms
We believe in the vital importance of strengthening ties with liberal Jewish communities worldwide, recognizing this connection as crucial for the Jewish people and the future of the State of Israel.
Hadag Nahash embraces the Jewish core value of Kol Israel Chaverim (All of Israel are friends) and works to strengthen Jewish peoplehood during these challenging times. The vision of the 100 Dagim initiative focuses on building bridges between Jewish communities in Israel and the Diaspora through a renewed connection to Jewish literary heritage.
In their new flagship project, Hadag Nahash presents a contemporary musical interpretation of selected Psalms – timeless texts that have guided the Jewish people through moments of both crisis and celebration.
The fusion of modern music with ancient words creates a new language that unites all segments of Judaism – secular and observant, Israelis and Diaspora Jews. Through music, we rekindle the younger generation’s bond with our rich cultural heritage and reinforce their sense of belonging to the shared Jewish history.
These unique renditions invite all listeners – Jews and non-Jews alike – to find comfort, inspiration, and strength in words that are a universal cultural treasure. This is our contribution to strengthening unity and mutual responsibility within the Jewish people – and beyond.
